There are certain points to be noted when you are going to start exercising for the first time;
- Consult your doctor about what type of exercise will be safe for you. He will advise you depending on the condition of your heart, blood vessels, kidneys, eyes, nervous system and feet.
- Choose those exercises which you consider to be easy and realistic for you.
- Your physical exercise should demand thorough sweat out, but should not be very difficult.
- Make a plan on what exercise you are going to do and for how long. Abide by it.
- In the starting, give yourself some flexibility but never skip exercise without any valid reason.
- Make it a habit to exercise regularly, and do not discourage the habit.
- Do not be too hard on yourself, it is important to reach your long term goal rather than collapsing over daily routine.
- Drink plenty of water before and after exercise.
- Keep track of your progress to motivate yourself.
